These beautiful magnetic saya are crafted from American black walnut wood. They will fit many double bevel Japanese style Slicer and Sujihiki knives with either western or Japanese Wa style handles. It will accommodate knives with spines up to 3.5mm or 4.5mm at the base. It does not fit western style knives with a flared finger guard on the heel (e.g. Henkel, Wustof, Mercer, etc.)

This saya comes equipped with a strong neodymium magnet to hold the knife in place. It does not come with a pin or a pin hole

How do I measure my knife

Our saya are finished and buffed with mineral oil. This will offer some protection to your knife cover without inhibiting the woods natural moisture wicking properties. A perfect choice for carbon steel knives!

Maintenance

Spot clean outer surface with mild soap and water when needed and dry immediately. Never leave submerged in water. Occasionally recondition with our EDRO wood conditioner to help with wear over time.

Carbon knives will not rust if completely dried before storage.
